Mission
At the heart of this campaign is a clear and powerful mission:
To build a stronger sense of community, pride, and place in our beautifully diverse and expansive city.
We believe this vision is achievable through collaboration and connection. By working hand-in-hand with our three school districts, two counties, our local Chamber of Commerce, neighboring Front Range cities, and the many organizations that serve our residents, we can amplify our collective impact.
Together, we can:
-
Strengthen partnerships that uplift every neighborhood.
-
Stretch our dollars further through shared resources and smart investments.
-
Create a city that reflects the strength, diversity, and unity of its people.
When we work together, our city becomes more resilient, more vibrant, and more empowered.
Goals
Make Living More Affordable
-
Reduce the burden of the high cost of living by advocating for policies that support working families and seniors.
Enhance Public Health & Safety
-
Pass Ballot Measure 3H to invest in critical infrastructure for our roads and Fire Department.
-
Ensure our first responders have the resources they need to keep our neighborhoods safe
Expand Housing Options
-
Promote a diverse range of housing, including:
-
Single-family homes
-
Duplexes
-
Townhomes
-
Condominiums
-
Affordable housing for households earning under 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
-
Invest in Smart, Sustainable Growth
-
Partner with Economic Development to attract key businesses and amenities — like our recent success bringing Trader Joe’s to Westminster.
-
Continue the build-out of our new downtown, focusing on mixed-use retail, walkable neighborhoods, and vibrant public spaces.
Improve Transit & Mobility
-
Reduce congestion and give residents real transportation choices by:
-
Expanding safe bike and pedestrian access
-
Creating connected trail systems to shopping and community hubs
-
Advocating for a Westminster stop on the Joint Service rail line
-
Supporting RTD Bus Rapid Transit along Federal Blvd
-
Growing micro-transit options, like the successful Via shuttle service
-
Protect Our Environment & Infrastructure
-
Improve air quality and expand air monitoring efforts.
-
Keep major projects like the water plant and courthouse on track and within budget.
-
Preserve open space and protect wildlife, ensuring Westminster remains a beautiful, livable city for generations to come.
Impact
When we commit to these
goals together, as a city
and as a Council, the
results are transformative
-
Stronger Community Bonds
Through active public engagement, we build deeper connections with our neighbors, fostering trust and unity across all corners of our city. -
Safer Neighborhoods
A more engaged community helps reduce crime and ensures that public safety resources — like well-maintained roads and responsive emergency services — are always within reach. -
Thriving Local Businesses
By supporting our entrepreneurs and attracting key investments, we create a vibrant local economy that benefits everyone. -
A Sustainable Future
Strategic growth, improved infrastructure, and environmental stewardship lay the foundation for a resilient city where families, businesses, and neighborhoods can flourish.
Together, we’re not just building a better city — we’re building a Westminster where everyone thrives.
