You spoke, we listened!
Here are thoughts from Westminster residents, in their own words...

More businesses in downtown Westminster
"Traffic control" Speed racing!
Easier access to shopping that is walkable
More bike trails or protected bike lanes
Affordable housing, more housing/zoning that allows for multi-generational living, I would like Westminster to be a welcoming city for immigrants and refugees
Speed bumps to control speeding
"More housing would alleviate the homelessness crisis"
Promote xeriscaping; no more non-native lawns; add additional increased water-rate tiers for high-use customers
Budget money for open space acquisition
Create truly affordable housing for low-wage earners
"Working with the homeless folks will be important"
Transportation and housing for growing senior population
The City Council ability to Listen to concerns we have as Residents
Tax recreational marijuana
Safer main streets for kids to cross for school and park
Love the parks and bike trails!
The rec centers, camps and awesome events like the Fourth of July bash. That really make me feel like we live in a community not just “part of the metro
Lots of open space, great parks and libraries
"The Westminster city government in general is a well run organization. Westy is a clean and thriving city"
Great timing of traffic lights
The parks are excellent
"Communicating with the public, trying to pass taxes/support for public services (we need to pass them!), being responsive to the families from Sheridan Green, and bringing in Google fiber"
